The map above shows the extent of the Parkland Walk in yellow, the main access points and links to and through nearby open spaces of interest. |
| Access for people with mobility problems is not ideal and in need of improvement. It is something for which the Friends will be campaiging. The best surface is on the Muswell Hill Section with reasonble access for people with mobility impairments. There is almost level access from the Finsbury Park end and at Blythwood Road, with a negotiable surface between. There is a steep slope at Holmesdale Road and poor surface in the western part of the southern section. Other entrances are stepped up embankments or down the sides of cuttings. The Islington section (south of Haslemere Road) has a ramped access way to a small area of good surfacing but is not linked by reasonable surface for people with mobility problems to other exits at the moment. It is our aim to assist with facilitating such improvements. |
| The southern section is part of the Capital Ring of paths - see the link to the right for more information about this section of the Ring from the Transport for London Website. The Northern section has a page about it if you follow this link. |
