Located in the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, this self-catering cottage sleeps 6 with two loos and a bath plus shower room. It has an AGA cooker and wood / coal burning stove. There are 10 museums of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site within easy reach (The Museum of Iron is opposite).

For walkers it is on the Shropshire Way with the Wrekin nearby and in the Severn Valley there is the Severn Way. For cyclists NR 45 passes the door and there is a 9 mile circuit one can do from the door. For railway enthusiasts the magnificent Severn Valley Railway is 10 miles away at Bridgnorth with a live railway to view outside and two others nearby. For family diversions Telford has a multiplex cinema, ice rink and sports centre. For landscape enthusiasts the Shropshire Hills AONB is close with historic towns of Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Much Wenlock a short drive away.

Things to do

The dining and sitting rooms each seat six (the maximum bed capacity of the cottage). In the kitchen there is an antique table with two high backed chairs for sitting by the AGA and meals for two (four using folding chairs from upstairs). For those not wishing to use the AGA there is an alternative gas hob, microwave / combination oven and electric kettle.
