CHARTING NEW ROLES FOR AUSTRALIAN GENERAL PRACTICE NURSES

GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES AND PROJECT STRUCTURE

Governance principles

•  All members of the partnership (whether organisations or individuals) will do their utmost to make the partnership succeed.   This includes not only ensuring that the aims and objectives of the research proposal (as specified in the contract with APHCRI) are met, but also demonstrating that partnerships of this nature can be productive and are a powerful means to improve the services provided to the community by general practice .

•  The project exists as an independent entity and all members of the partnership (whether organisations or individuals) will advocate on behalf of the project and facilitate the two-way flow of information.
