Hi everyone. I am Humphrey, the Hufflepuff mascot and I have some things to tell you. First of all I want to say that there is not enough about my house in the Harry Potter books or the movies. You would think that the only houses in Hogwart's are Gryffindor and Slytherin. This is so untrue! So I poked my head out of the sett to let you know we have a real presence at Hogwarts. We are loyal and true.
Professor Sprout is the head of our house. She has a way with plants, herbal remedies and told me once that she even sprouts greens to help counteract the heavy diet at Hogwarts. How do I know? Because I see them growing and poking their little sprout heads towards the sun. I am not a wordy badger. I am mostly here to welcome you to my house. The people who speak badly about my house do not understand our depth. I am so proud to be a Hufflepuff. I would not even consider being in any other house. The classmates are very compatable and we make each other feel at home. It is warm and cosy to be a Hufflepuff. Welcome to our house. I have been working on creating different rooms in our sett and teaching the classmates the wonders of being a badger. Now that I have had my say I will show you pictures of badgers and wonderful links to Hufflepuff House. So get yourself a nice cup of hot chocolate with heavy cream.
