LISBON, PORTUGAL Day 1 Steve surprised me for Xmas with a week in Lisbon Portugal!! WOW what a whirlwind trip from Xmas-New Years! CHECK OUT ALL 6 ALBUMS ABOVE!
		We arrived on Xmas Day in Lisbon These first few views are from our hotel room window The rich hues cut through the grey weather I took a ton of pix of this roof!! Super texture The warmth of the buildings was such a surprise to me We set out to visit the old part of Lisbon..LOL! Graffiti was EVERYWHERE With no obvious attempt to eliminate it. I loved the iron work balconies All the shops were so quaint and interesting Steve was in this liquor store while I photographed One of the piazza like plazas in town These trees were enormous! This was my favorite shot of the day!!!! The streets and sidewalks were all cobblestone Our legs got a serious workout Poinsettas on the balcony This turn of the century tower had a "lift" to the top I love the depth in this photo! We headed to the line to go up We were waiting in line and I snapped a few pix All the cobblestone work was incredible This was the first level we stopped at on the way up the tower No doubt you are in the Mediterranean! Oh yea..and THIS was another of my pick pix I had to walk down this spiral staircase 2 floors More super views It was about 65 and drizzly but not cold at all I put my new zoom lens to the test here. Yeah..I think another favorite Ohhhhhhhhh..like cotton candy!!!! Hand painted tile walls was a feature of Lisbon A very cool shot I wish this hadn't been blurry It was blinking at me and needed it's photo taken! This Santa was in front of the Sex Shop No connection..but pretty funny We got hungry and went inside I freaked out at this tile wall!!
