The green key light(s) update sounds interesting. Would love to see it in real life. Wonder what other colors might look nice? I might be inclined to try an Original Apple Rainbow Logo effect.

I strongly recommend finding a PDF copy of the Apple Service Manual referenced in the visual guide (here). The ASMs are insanely detailed, and from experience I can say confidently that the online how-to's often miss a few important steps found in the ASMs. You can follow the online guides, naturally, and get the job done, but the ASMs provide an added level of confidence when cracking open your Mac.


