Two Macs Tip: Safari Downloads






If you use two or more Macs to work and play consider using iDisk to store your Safari downloads. That way you'll only have to download items once (effectively).

To set Safari up to download your files to your iDisk, launch Safari and select Preferences from the Safari menu (+,) and click the General tab if it's not already selected.

You should see something like this:




You'll notice that I renamed my iDisk > Desktop folder "iDisk Desktop." That obviously differentiates the iDisk Desktop folder from your local Mac's Desktop folder.

Do this on every Mac you might share downloaded files with.
