Macnn.com has a story about the expected movie-related announcements from both Apple and Amazon.

The article suggests that Amazon has all the major movie studios signed up except for Disney. Wonder why ;-)

The rumors that Apple will release a new iPod along with the movie service seem to be pretty likely, although I doubt Apple would sell movies in a format that can't be played on existing iPod video models, so I don't expect any huge leap in the next revision of the iPod. We'll find out soon enough.


