Behind Apple's customer service rankings






Macrumors.com has an interesting post about customer service-related stuff going on behind the scenes at Apple. Recent decisions made by Apple might well have long-term repercussions in regard to customer satisfaction.

I've been on Apple's case (or Gapple, as I sometimes call the company now) for quite a while. It goes without saying that Apple does a lot of stuff right, but in recent years the fabric of Apple Computer has been changing.

That's a good thing in many ways, ie the iPod, but when that fabric goes from highest quality to middle of the road quality new customers are brought in and old customers can be left with a sour taste in their mouths.
