Sony Ericson W810i + Harman Kardon SoundSticks II = Killer Speakerphone

Last night I connected my Sony Ericsson W810i to a set of Harman/Kardon Soundsticks II I hadn't used in a while.

The W810i wired handsfree consists of a proprietary jack that plugs into the bottom of the W810i and a pair of in-ear 3.5mm headphones plug into the end of the W810i. Unplug the Sony Ericsson headphones and you can plug in any 3.5mm male jack.

I've used the Soundsticks II with several iPods, including the shuffle, but why I never tried using it with my old W800i I don't know. But last night I tried the W810i and it played tracks and radio perfectly. Then I tried a test call and it, too, sounded great. The pair makes a really good speakerphone.
