Barbarian Potions

Introduction
One of the important abilities of the Barbarian Tribal Warrior OCC is its ability to create a potion from
recently killed bodies. There are three types of bodies that potions can be created from. The first type
is Animal Creatures, which includes normal humanoids and normal animals of all types. The second type is
Minor Supernatural Creatures, which includes minor types of supernatural creatures. The third and final
type is Major Supernatural Creatures, which includes major demons and deevils and creatures of magic like
dragons.
Potion Descriptions
- Acid Grenade:
- Creature Type: Animal Creature
- Description: This potion is created from the digestive juices of a creature will
can be used as a primitive grenade. When the potion hits a target or near a target, the
container shatters and acid splashes over a small radius. If the potion hits a target
directly, it inflicts 3D6 points of acid damage and inflicts 1D6+2 points of acid damage
to everything within a 5' (1.5 m) radius of the point of impact. If the acid potion does
not hit a target directly, it will inflict 2D6 points of damage to everything within a 5'
(1.5 m) radius from the point of impact.
- Agility Boost:
- Creature Type: Animal Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles, bones, and spinal
column, the barbarian can create a potion that will grant a small boost to the drinker's
agility. The drinker of this potion receives a bonus of +4 to PP attribute that lasts for
1D6x10 minutes.
- Cure Poison Potion:
- Creature Type: Animal Creature
- Description: After consuming this potion, made from several internal organs used to
digest food and purify blood, the drinker gains a special bonus of +8 to all saves vs.
toxins, magical and non-magical, for the next 1D6 hours and any non-magical poisons
affecting the drinker are immediately cured. If the drinker is being affected by any
supernatural or magical poisons, they can immediately roll another save vs. toxin against
that poison, including the bonus provided above, and if they make the save, then the
poison is stopped.
- Energy Explosion Potion:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: After drinking this potion, a burst of magical energy explodes from
the drinker's body causing magical damage of no particular type to all enemies of the
drinker within range. This potion will inflict 1D4x10 points of damage +2 points of damage
per level of experience of the barbarian that created the potion. The energy explosion has
a radius of 15' (4.6 m) and an additional +5' (1.5 m) at levels 4, 8, 12, and 15 of the
barbarian that created the potion. Unfortunately, this potion causes 2D6 points of magical
feedback damage to the drinker of the potion.
- Fire Breathing Potion:
- Creature Type: Minor Supernatural Creature
- Description: After consuming this potion, the drinker can breath a large cone of
flame like a Dragon. This flame attack inflicts 2D6 points of damage +1 point of damage per
level of experience of the barbarian of flame damage and the drinker can use this attack
once per melee round at a count of a single melee attack. This potion remains in affect for
1 melee round per level of experience of the barbarian that made the potion. The cone of
flame produced by this potion has a range of 15' (4.6 m).
- Major Combat Boost:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles, brain, and bones,
the barbarian can create a potion that will grant a small boost to the drinker's combat
skills. The drinker of this potion receives a bonus of +2 attacks per melee, +4 to all
offensive actions, and +2 to all defensive actions for 5D6 melee rounds.
- Major Energy Recovery:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: This potion uses several components of a creature that the barbarians
associate with the mystical centers of a creature. This potion magically restores 4D6 PPE
+2 PPE per level of experience of the barbarian that made the potion to the drinker.
- Major Healing Potion:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: This potion uses several components of a creature that the barbarians
associate with healing. This potion magically restores 6D6 points of damage +3 points of
damage per level of experience of the barbarian that made the potion to the drinker.
Wounds healed with this potion close without leaving any scars.
- Major Strength Boost:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles, the barbarian can
create a potion that will grant a large boost to the drinker's strength. The drinker of this
potion gains supernatural strength if they did not already have it or if the drinker already
had supernatural strength, he gains a bonus of +5 to PS attribute. Both effects last for 6D6
minutes.
- Medium Healing Potion:
- Creature Type: Minor Supernatural Creature
- Description: This potion uses several components of a creature that the barbarians
associate with healing. This potion magically restores 4D6 points of damage +2 points of
damage per level of experience of the barbarian that made the potion to the drinker. Wounds
healed with this potion close without leaving any scars.
- Medium Strength Boost:
- Creature Type: Minor Supernatural Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles, the barbarian can
create a potion that will grant a boost to the drinker's strength. The drinker of this
potion receives a bonus of +10 to PS attribute and +3 to PE attribute that lasts for 6D6
minutes.
- Minor Combat Boost:
- Creature Type: Minor Supernatural Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles, brain, and bones,
the barbarian can create a potion that will grant a small boost to the drinker's combat
skills. The drinker of this potion receives a bonus of +1 attack per melee, +2 to all
offensive actions, and +1 to all defensive actions for 4D6 melee rounds.
- Minor Energy Recovery:

- Description: This potion uses several components of a creature that the barbarians

+1 PPE per level of experience of the barbarian that made the potion to the drinker.

create a potion that will grant a small boost to the drinker's strength. The drinker of this
potion receives a bonus of +4 to PS attribute and +1 to PE attribute that lasts for 6D6
minutes.
- Natural Armor Potion:
- Creature Type: Major Supernatural Creature
- Description: The tough skin and natural armor that protect most powerful supernatural
creatures is one of the main reasons they are so difficult to destroy. By using pieces of
the skin and armor of these creatures, the barbarian can create a potion that will toughen
the drinker's skin. This potion provides the drinker with a natural armor rating of 10 with
an additional +2 at levels 5, 10, and 15 of the barbarian that created the potion.
- Regeneration Potion:
- Creature Type: Minor Supernatural Creature
- Description: Related to the healing potions, this potion heals the drinker's wounds,
but instead of curing wounds with a one time boost, the Regeneration Potion cures wounds
each melee round. This potion restores 1D6 points of damage +1 point of damage at levels 3,
6, 9, 12, and 15 of the barbarian that made the potion. The potion lasts for 2 melee rounds
per level of the barbarian that made the potion.
- Speed Boost:
- Creature Type: Animal Creature
- Description: By using components taken from a creature's muscles and bones, the
barbarian can create a potion that will grant a boost to the drinker's speed. The drinker
of this potion receives a bonus of +8 to Spd attribute that lasts for 2D4x10 minutes.
