i've been away a while i know...got lost in my little black box and a move and life in general...but this little video got me a little choked up (just a little...i'm still hard as nails) and i wanted to notice that in public...i've had a good feeling about john edwards for a long time, and now he looks like he's working a bigger game...shedding the mask a bit...this goes along with my new work, but i think it's best to keep politics as far away from that as possible. and so...you've got chasbaudelaire to kick around once again!

so in the past 23 days i've graduated iin , been accepted into and registered for the immersion program , signed a lease, weaseled out of a lease, and smooth talked my way back into said lease...on averton street, point six miles as the crow flies from where i currently sit, to the southwest yet, which is saying something i suppose. oh yeah, and i've got a new book coming my way. and speaking of books...if you ever pop a key off of your ibook...or if a little creature too cute to ever be mad at does it for you...look here for good sensible directions on how to put it back...this link alone ought to pay you back all the time you've spent vainly perusing these pages. 

okay so i popped the question and ran said yes and i guess sometime near the end of '07 or the start of '08 she'll be getting a new last name and we'll be hauling rowan and a babysitter off to someplace sunny for a week...

got news from andrew (number 2 ? or just the landlord?) that our apartment is up for condo, and so after a week's deliberation we've settled on getting out of the village for once and for all...hoping it's not really just "many happy returns"...we'll be singing "dem bones" all the way to california i'm sure...

perhaps we should watch all 17 episodes before we have to pack up the vcr...

In its most elementary sense, after all, newsworthiness is built on a foundation of anomaly -- the classic "man bites dog" paradigm. (A second newsroom aphorism: "Nobody writes about the planes that land.")

Though that sounds common-sensical enough, few of us pause to think about the upshot of such truisms. That is, what you see each day on television, read about in the newspaper or hear during those 22-minute segments in which all-news radio stations promise to deliver "your world" is not, in fact, your world. Rather, it is the negative image of your world. Put another way, the news provides you with a high-resolution snapshot of what life isn't.
...
My advice would be to defer worrying about whatever the TV shows are hyping until you begin seeing unending waves of good news. That's when you'll know that the world is indeed a mess. In the meantime, the worse the news, the better you should feel about life. 

so here i sit in palm beach international, soaking up the free wifi and the eveil coffee from evil starbucks...but hey, i've got 25 ounces of vasa to keep me company as well...taking off in 54 minutes, boarding in 23...and i'll leave it at that...very excited for this weekend...why?...well, it's the halfway point...and the beginning of 3 weekends in 5 weeks...strapping myself in...wheeee! 

well then...i am now fully licensed to use the title anusara-inspired in any and all of my yoga classes...huh...well pat me on the head and call me shorty! 

fantastic session with heather today...she has such a way to get me to look in the mirror and see myself for what i am...a holistic health counsellor among other things...and to get me to recognize my hedges for what they are, pretty green fences...keeping me in or other people out? either way stopping connection...

so then...i've re-arranged my calendar, creating space for fun in the middle of all the work, and i've arranged for some help arranging my office, trading massage for professional organizing from my friend kristin mallery of simplify , and i've set up my first presentation as a holistic health coach (yeah, that's right, i'm playing around with the nomenclature), a breathing talk that you'll get the skinny on if you subscribe to my newsletter (contact works better than comment, although i love comments!).

be." This is excellent advice to keep at the forefront of your awareness
during the coming weeks, Pisces. Here's how I interpret his statement:
There's not necessarily anything wrong with playing a role if that role is in
alignment with your highest values. In fact, to make believe that you are
the person you want to be is an excellent strategy for actually becoming
the person you want to be.
