strange headlines

lot's of different realities going on these days

passing through new hampshire yesterday saw a headline that gave gw a bump in the polls following the dnc, pulling something like 48 to kerry's 43, yet zogby turns those numbers exactly in the other direction, and in analyzing the race in terms of electoral votes puts kerry ahead at 291 to 215. in an analysis of the post-convention poll zogby notes kerry's strength among the relatively small number of undecideds, and also points out these interesting stats:

Among Single voters, Mr. Kerry is winning huge by a total of 69% to 19%. And among young voters - 18-29 year olds - a group Al Gore only won by 2 points in 2000, Kerry is winning in a landslide, 53% to 33%.

well then...let's get the singles and the youngsters to the polls, eh...
