oh my god ralph nader is running for president!

don't you hate it when that happens?

okay, so we are talking about a country where 50% of the population doesn't vote. it seems pretty simple to me. register more people by giving them a reason to vote. listen to anyone with a following (this includes sharpton and kucinich and dean and mosley-brown...) and recognize the validity of their views, or at least figure out their appeal, and then play to their audience. anybody but bush definitely isn't going to cut it. it isn't the end of the world, more like a bit of elevation on the road that requires the development of strength and endurance.

personally, i'm tired of the corporate dominance of politics and government in this country, so i'm glad to see it addressed in a presidential campaign. i'd prefer to see it honestly addressed by the democrats, but since they are still busy denying that influence ("i did not have sex with that woman") i guess it's up to ralph.
