There must be something about December 13th --
global warming? El NiƱo? Mike Madison's birthday? -- that inspires
meteorologists to produce never-before-seen, heard, or even dreamed-of weather
forecasts. Two years ago, the National Weather Service warned us about an
impending barrage of ice pellets. Today, the fine folks and graphics
at AccuWeather want us to watch out for an avalanche of ice
cubes:
