After my Professional Writing for Economists class
this afternoon, one of my students sidled up to me and said,
Do you drink a lot of
coffee? I
mean, because you're always really full of energy, and I know I'm not, so I just
wondered...
He trailed off. I smiled and said: That's pretty much inborn. And I'm really passionate about what I teach.
When that didn't seem to satisfy him, I added: And whatever birth and passion don't take care of, Mountain Dew does.
To that, I suspect, he could relate.
