Lismore Primary School had a 'cycle day' for P6 & P7 children - reported in the Craigmillar Chronicle. This included basic bike checks - most bikes need their tyres blown up! A skills training course was provided by Mark Young of Scottish Cycling. The school is thinking about Cycle Training and teaching the children basic bike maintenance. An application for funding for a Workshop in a Cupboard was turned down (money was awarded to the Venchie instead). |

Bridgend Farm Community Allotment Health Project, (photo shows site being prepared for the project which started in 2006. Paths though Craigmillar Country Park have been improved to allow easier access by bike or on foot. |

"The Tunnel" a vital link between Craigmillar and Bingham. On the Bingham side is the Innocent Cycle Path between St. Leonards and Joppa (off road) with linking paths to Musselburgh. There are plans to clean it up and paint a mural - perhaps with a cycling theme... |

Bingham Community Complex home to Lismore Parents Action Group. LPAG has bought 20 helmets for use by local children. Community Policeman Mark Thomson will be helping to run a Cycle Club. |
