Peter Sandmark is the coordinator of the IFVA and Katherine Jerkovic is an administrative assistant to Peter.
This is my favourite photo from the trip. Over the years Peter has kept the fire burning at national headquarters and provided a vital, human link for the membership of the IFVA. He's an amazing person with a seemingly endless supply of talent and energy.
This photo sums up a lot of what goes on behind the scenes at an AGM. Checking documents to make sure that everything is just right. With a national, inclusive, bilingual organization the skills needed to work effectively with everyone attracts incredible people. As Katherine and Peter worked away quietly in a corner of Club Saw, people were laughing, discussing policy, catching up with their friends, and starting to form the motions that would be discussed and passed at the plenary session.
