- You can do a lot with QuickTime and by registering to get QuickTime Pro you can do even more.
- Frame Thief
- Animation tool that lets you create stopmotion and time lapse animation on the Mac.
- iStopMotion
- iStopMotion lets you record stop motion and time lapse animations.
Inspiration
- Neighbours/Voisins
- Norman McLaren was a pioneer of animation who made an amazing range of animations in different styles for the NFB. Neighbours/Voisins is a animation without dialogue that uses the technique of pixilation.
- Sad Song Video
- Fredo Viola made a music video for his song, "The Sad Song" using his digital still camera and the 15 second silent movie capability. It's amazing.
- Stephen X. Arthur
- Stephen Arthur is a Vancouver-based filmmaker who does some pretty amazing stuff. His recent experimental animation Trans Can takes you across the Trans Canada Highway in 8 minutes!
- Digital Snapshot
- An amazing project that captures moments in time. The detailed description is in German, but they seem to have combined various shots in a park together and played with time. Time and space mixed together.
- Fast Film
- Virgil Widrich's 14 minute animation is created by folding printed pages which are frames from Hollywood films. It is made up of 65000 prints!
- 120 Seconds.com
- 120 Seconds has a ton of great work, including some amazing animations and experimental work.
- ZeD
- ZeD bills itself as open source television. You can join and upload your work to share with the world.
