Angel Ministry - Responsible for providing food to SAA-SDS families and/or staff             during a time of need.  This includes new babies, illnesses and deaths. August through May.

Art Orders - Responsible for organizing the sale and promotion of Original Art Work Projects for PK - 8th Grade.  Activities include obtaining art work from teachers, preparing and distributing packets, collecting money and orders, placing orders with vendor and distributing orders at school.  October through December.

Backpacks - Responsible for organizing the sale and promotion of school backpacks for grades PK - 8th.  Activities include “Wednesday Wire” communications, collecting money and orders, placement of order with vender and distributing backpacks.  April through August.

Box Tops - Responsible for promoting and executing the General Mill’s Box Top program for grades PK - 8th.  Activities include “Wednesday Wire” communications and Box Top collection/sorting/submission.  October and February.

Cookbook - Responsible for developing and selling a SAA-SDS Cookbook - Target date Oktoberfest.  This includes finalizing recipes, selecting a publisher, designing a format, budgeting, developing a pricing/marketing plan, and distributing the Cookbooks.  July through May.

Father/Daughter Dance - Responsible for the planning and execution of the Father/Daughter Dance.  Activities include budgeting, theme development, invitations, decorations, catering, music and gifts.  January.

Father/Son Breakfast - Responsible for the panning and execution of the Father/Son Breakfast. Activities include budgeting, theme development, invitations, decorations, catering and gifts.  November.

Beautification Committee - Responsible for helping plant and maintain flower pots and the entrances of school.  May also include helping to plant and/or maintain other garden areas on the school campus.  There may be additional opportunities for this committee as it is a new committee and roles are still being defined.  Year round.

Holiday Decorating - Responsible for setting up and taking down the Christmas Decorations.  This includes decorating Christmas Trees and hanging wreaths and garland outside the buildings on campus.  November through December.

Hospitality - Responsible for the planning/preparing of food and refreshments for the Parent Club Meetings, Christmas and End-of-Year Luncheon.  This includes limited decorations and set-up.  August through May.

Mother/Daughter Breakfast - Responsible for the planning and execution of the Mother/Daughter Breakfast.  Activities include budgeting, theme, development, invitations, decorations and flowers, catering and gifts.  October.

Mother/Son Picnic - Responsible for the planning and execution of the Mother/Son Picnic.  Activities include budgeting, invitations, decorations, and flowers.  Committee also provides deserts at the picnic.  April.

New Parent Coffee - Responsible for the planning and the execution of the New Parent Coffee for PK - 8th Grade.  Activities include budgeting, invitations, and flowers.  Committee also plans and arranges for all food and refreshments.  August.

Oktoberfest - Responsible for the planning, the promoting and the execution of Oktoberfest for all children and their families grades PK - 8th.  Activities include budgeting, decorations, organizing games and activities, catering, music, set up and clean up.  October.

Race For The Cure - Responsible for coordinating communications regarding the race with the upper school.  Requires sorting t-shirts and working a booth at the race.  October.

School Supplies - Responsible for organizing the sale and promotion of school backpacks for grades PK - 6th.  Activities include “Wednesday Wire” communications, collection of money and orders, placement of order with vender and distribution of school supplies.  April through August.

Staff Appreciation - Responsible for the planning and execution of Staff Appreciation month which includes a Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizer and Gift Day.  Activities include budgeting, invitations, theme development, decorations, menu planning, volunteer coordination and gift selection.  Each event has a different Committee.  February.

Teachers’ “Perk” - Responsible for requesting, collecting and distributing donations of coffee and supplies for the teachers lounges.  Requires ability to set up an excel spreadsheet for sign-up information after registration.  August through May.

Uniform Sale - Responsible for organizing the Uniform Sale for grades PK - 12th on Registration Day.  Activities include communicating sale logistics and procedures, set-up and take down, and financial distribution.  August.
