Parking at UF
1) closest is the lot behind Tigert Hall. Tigert Hall is located on the Northeast side of campus (around SW 13th Street and SW 3rd Ave). The parking map indicates that this lot is 'gated', but on Saturday there is open parking. In the event that there is no parking in this lot on Saturday morning (can't really imagine it, but who knows?), then
2) parking garage 4 at the corner of Museum and Newell Drives.
Another Suggestion: Park in the First United Methodist Church lot, 421 NE First Street, behind the church on NE 2nd St.
Note that NE 2nd St is one-way going South; easiest access is to take NE 1st Street North for 3 blocks, turn R., go 2 blocks; turn R again on NE 2nd St. & look for the parking lot on the R, across from the park. |
