VERIFIED VOTING NEW MEXICO

ACT NOW!

Please tell Jeff Bingaman, Pete Domenici, Steve Pearce and Heather Wilson that to insure that our vote will count in the 2004 election, we need legislation requiring all states to use election equipment that provides a voter-verifiable paper audit trail. In the House this means supporting The Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act (H.R. 2239), of which Representative Tom Udall is already a sponsor. The same legislation in the Senate is S. 1980. Contact information:

Senator Jeff Bingaman ( e-mail or contact through website)
Senator Pete Domenici (contact through website)
Representative Heather Wilson, District 1 ( e-mail or contact through website)
Representative Steve Pearce, District 2 (contact through website)
Representative Tom Udall, District 3 (contact through website)

The New Mexico Secretary of State (State Capitol North Annex, Suite 300, Santa Fe, NM 87503) and Governor Richardson (State Capitol, Room 400, Santa Fe, NM 87501) also need to hear from us. So do your your state legislators (State Capitol, Attn: Mail Room Dept, Santa Fe, NM 87503) and your local county clerks and other local officials.

Become informed by visiting the sites on our information page and others. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper.
