Many solutions have been proposed and are being proposed to end the interminal conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The central issue is Jerusalem. The best solution to this problem is contained in Karen Armstrong's book entitled Jerusalem, One City, Three Faiths. The statement below was submitted by responsible spokesmen from each side and indicates that historically Jerusalem does not belong to either, but to all those cultures who at one time or another in the past occupied this territory.

This appears to me to be a practical solution to the problem of Jerusalem.
