The purpose
of this workshop is to demonstrate a variety of formats for developing web-based
assignments. The lesson formats are open-ended and allow faculty the
freedom to tailor the assignment to the course content. The formats
enable faculty to produce well structured lessons that use quality web
sites. The activities can be easily written using any word processor
(MS Word) that
allows one to insert hyperlinks. The completed activity can be made
available to students by posting it within a course management system
such as WebCT.
