Into
the Woods By Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine Masters Thesis By going back to the original gruesome stories recorded by the Brother's grimm, this design for Into the Woods attempts to connect the audience with the events of the second act, after happily-ever-after, and detach them from the preconceived notions of what fairytales should be. |

The
Caucasian Chalk Circle By Bretolt Brecht Directed by Keith Langsdale Eclectic is the only work that can describe this uncommon production, combining Asian inspired costumes; Russian and American folk music; scant, post-disaster sets, stylized fight choreography and puppets. These costumes emphasize the divide between the social classes through style and use of color. |

| Life is a
Dream By Pedro Calderon de la Barca Directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni In this new translation of the well-known Calderon play, my co-designer, June Gaeke, and I chose to highlight the transistions of power from old to new by combining 17th C. apparel and modern high fashion. This distinctive production also involved flashbacks, a Greek-style chorus dressed in black, kabuki battle scenes and a mountain-inspired jungle gym. |

The
Last Five Years By Jason Robert Brown Directec by Keith Langsdale As their relationship falls apart, the two characters in this touching musical cross each other in time, one traveling from the beginning to end and the other from end to beginning. In this production, I used ombre dyeing techniques to make the clothing follow the journey of the actors. |
