Christmas in England, 2005
Even though we were far away from Family and Friends, we enjoyed a different kind of Christmas this year with just the four of us.

The Christmas Eve "Crib Service" at Brandon Anglican Church.
We were given lit candles for the whole service. (Lydia and I held them!)
During the service we caroled and prepared the crib for the Christ.
Christmas morning, the boys were excited to see if Santa Claus visited England.
Finally the wait was over. They were nice and let us sleep until 7:30.
Father Christmas did not let the boys down!
Justin was helpful in showing Kaden where all the gifts were.
I don't think he would have had problems anyway.
The stockings were loaded with the standard goods: candy and a toothbrush.
Santa brought Justin's favorite gift of the year: Boba Fett's LEGO ship.
Kaden was happy with a lot of things too: Castle books...
Spider-Man socks...
Thomas the Tank Engine train sets,
and LEGO castles!!
Justin also liked the giant chocolate coins,
a mini zipper-pull flashlight for dark English nights,
But most of all the LEGOs! He even had a LEGO Christmas tree.
Justin worked on all his LEGOs most of the day, with a little help from his dad!
Even after church, there was work to be done.
With all the 'work' to do, everybody got into the act!
The boys left a tray of goodies for Santa. They chose egg nog and Twizzlers.
Kaden even got a special slant desk to help with his eyes.
The boys played nicely with each other all day.
There was so much to do, they hardly sat still!!
Their favorite gifts were the LEGOs, castles, Star Wars, and Bionicles.
Although Kaden always likes the soft, fuzzy, and purple gifts too!
Craig gave Justin a model and paints for some fun together time.
Lydia received some fun gifts too.
Her favorite gift was the Su-Doku book that she worked on all day.
Her favorite part of the day was spending time with everyone in the Drawing room
Craig's favorite gift was his new computer and digital camera.
The computer quickly became everybody's favorite gift and event.
We were actually able to "be" in Columbus after all.
It was a fun day for everyone. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christ's bi...
Even with all the fun, we miss everyone back home. Merry Christmas!!!
