Directions to Tilden Park

Based on the difficulty getting through the Caldecott Tunnel in the eastward direction at the time we'll be going, the following route is recommended:

Go on 680 towards Walnut Creek.
Exit onto 24 going west in Walnut Creek.
Just before the Caldecott Tunnerl, exit onto Fish Ranch Road.

At the top of the hill, at the big intersection, bear right and go onto Grizzly Peak Blvd. Follow Grizzly Peak until you see the sign for Tilden Park Golf Course on your right. Turn off there (right) and the course is about 1/2 mile further.

An alternate way: Use the Highway 13 connector to the road going across the back of the Berkeley Campus and then turn up Strawberry Canyon. When you get to the top of that road, continue straight ahead into Tilden Park and the golf course.

There are other ways to get to the course. But this is pretty foolproof. Be sure to allow yourself 1 hour 30 minutes to get there, at least, and add on the 30 minutes you need to be there before tee time.
