February 2008
Unfortunately, due to an increase in live performance commitments at the weekend, I will no longer be able to teach at Theatretrain on a Saturday. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Royston team: the tutors are great, the facilities ideal and the kids are both enthusiastic and very talented, so it's with genuine regret that I will be handing over the position of Singing Tutor to someone else towards the end of February. I wish them all the best of luck with their forthcoming show in June 2008.

January 2008
I am fortunate to be joining Theatretrain team in Royston as their singing tutor, starting at the beginning of term on 5th January 2008. This is a newly established Theatre Train branch (now in it's second term) and the student enrolment is thriving. Offering 1 hour of singing, dance and drama on a Saturday afternoon, Theatretrain provides Professional Training in the Performing Arts for your people aged 6 - 18yrs.

December 2007
A hectic Christmas schedule again, both as a soloist and with function band 'Nightshift'. New Year's Eve I will be at The Green Man hotel in Fownhope, Hereford again (third year running!) so look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Accommodation and delicious food are also available at the hotel, so book early to avoid disappointment.

December 2007
Thank you to the kids at Fusion Dance and Drama in Letchworth. I taught a one-off vocal session with the Musical Theatre students who have been working on 'Reflection' from Mulan, and they were great. Singing only makes up a small proportion of the work undertaken on the Musical Theatre Course, so a Vocal Tutor is only needed approximately twice a term, however I'm looking forward to working with you again in 2008.

September 2007
I will be joining the StageArts team leading the singing classes, based in Stevenage, starting from 8th September 2007. If you have a few hours spare on a saturday morning and would like to join a Theatre school that inspires creativity and self-expression, why not give StageArts a try. Please see the website below for class trial offers and more details on the StageArts programme.

"StageArts is a Saturday Theatre School open to all young people from age 5-16. We aim to offer a fun filled, challenging yet rewarding training in theatrical arts, covering all three artistic disciplines, Acting, Singing and Jazz Dancing, over a 3 hour period. These artistic disciplines will improve students performance techniques as well as develope confidence and articulation. All our classes are structured  to help build self-confidence and develop performance skills by fully trained professionals in their own subject. Classes are split by age and ability, making sure no child is left out.  We find that if students are having fun they learn much more quickly. Our yearly shows quickly develops each student's creative skills, building skills, communication skills, teamwork and self-expression."
