TORTICOLLIS "WRY NECK"

Torticollis or Wry Neck, is twisted head pulled to one side by a tight Sternocleidomastoid muscle. You have a pair of them that make a V at the front of your neck, almost meeting at your collar bone, running up to just behind each ear. Shortening the right one turns your head to the left and vice versa.

Any tight neck muscle is uncomfortable in the extreme, hence the expression "Pain in the neck", and neck muscles are prone to aggravation by our habit of holding our heads still for too long while concentrating or a sudden jolt.

One session will make a difference, three will get you well on the way to normal movement again. Phone to book on 07017 415310. Feel free to ask questions about treatment before booking.
