Tamahome is a member of the Suzaku Seven, celestial warriors sworn to protect the Priestess of Suzaku from harm. Tamahome is the first member of the Suzaku Seven that Miaka encounters, and also the one that she becomes closest to. While at first seeming to be a person caring entirely for money, we see that Tamahome is much deeper than first impressions may lead the audience to believe.
