Random thoughts from his grown fans, on finally meeting an untouchable man. |

My Name is Carol and I started liking the Bay City Rollers when I was seventeen. I probably first heard of them in 16 magazine since I read that religiously. I liked them since they were different and they came from another country. The Rollers did a concert here in '77, and I had that one day off from work after working nineteen days in a row. I loved that concert, always hoping, but never knowing I would ever meet any of the Rollers.
My sister Connie told me last summer that there was a fan Rave in Georgia with Les. Les was always my favorite so I thought it would be fun to check it out. I knew we would see Les the day of the show so I really didn't look for him beforehand. Then to my surprise I saw him rounding the corner, smiling. I left my sister and friend and starting following him, I was saying "It's him, it's Les, come on." I caught up with him and got this picture taken with him.
He was so nice and normal that night and I felt seventeen again. I can't wait to see him at Rave in New Orleans! Love ya Les!
