Ooops the war on Christmas is Bullshit
While defending his right to break the law and
promising to break it again in the future, "because that's what the American
people expect me to do", President Bush the 43rd ended his little press event
with a hearty "happy holidays"
And not one, not a single one of these fake-ass
right-wing freak-a-zoids called him on it. You've got Billy O'Reilly running
around like a butch Henny Penny claiming that every little liberal hiccup, real
or imagined is a frontal assault on Savior's birthday. But not a peep as the
President King signed off his press conference "Happy Holidays", just 6 days
away from Christmas. So there's no there
there.
Meanwhile these same
"Christians" in the House are doing their best to turn the words of Jesus on
their head. Specifically, I'm talking about the savior's well known commie
utterance, "the first shall be last, and the last shall be first". The Repugs
in keeping with the spirit of the Ebenezer Scrooge aren't satisfied with
threatening the victims of Hurricane Katrina with eviction, they want to cut
medicare, students loans, and other wasteful programs that sustain the poor.
They've tied these cuts to to a
continuing appropriations bill for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq in both the
House and the Senate and are all but daring the Democrats to call them out on
it.
So for those keeping score at home
here's the Repugs real take on Christmas:
1.
Not really a war unless it means attacking someone they call a
liberal
2. Scrooge was onto
something
Merry Fucking
Christmas
