Was not about the 150 programs he plans to cut,
or that he plans to invade and bully more nations to gain control of the world's
oil supply.... err spread democracy (my
bad).
The scariest thing that Bush said
in his State of the Union address
is that we live in the fastest
growing economy ever. Not that I believe
anything he says, but if it were true consider what that would mean: It would
mean that in an economy that is flat out as good as it will ever get we're still
losing good, very good working class jobs, closing parks and libraries and
cutting funding for schools (I know that President dubyahMD said he's spending
more on education than any other president, but what he's really giving is a
huge handout a lot of it to testing firms and publishing companies that
befriended him. If this is as good as it gets what happens when we go into
recession or (god forbid) depression?
