It's that time again the time to give thanks and
screw voters.
I'm not sure if this a part of the recently
received or stolen divine mandate or just more of the same ole
shit.
Last
year: The American
Taliban/neo-facist/neo-saved/neo-con (take your pick) attached the freedom from
overtime act to the omnibus spending bill before retiring for the season to take
a break from their mistresses, raise money, and and pass out patronage funds.
They did this despite the fact that even the freakishly right wing House refused
to go along with the White House attempt to repeal overtime as we know it. So
instead it was added as an ornament to the must pass spending bill even though
it was never apart of any bill emerging from any house. Hey when you gotta go,
you gotta go.
So this year what was
it?
- a domestic gag rule on
abortion
AND
- eliminating or reducing financial
aid for up to 100,000
students.
