FACT:
Feb. 15, 1898: An accidental ignition source lit off the USS Maine's gun powder charges in Havana Harbor. War-mongering journalists wrote "Remember the Maine!, To hell with Spain!" and the Spanish-American war was soon on.
FACT:
1953: In Operation Ajax, the CIA overthrew Mossadeq's democratic Iran and reinstalled the Shah as an authoritarian monarch. This was because Mossadeq had nationalized the oil. The CIA waged a terror campaign against innocent civilians and blamed Mossadeq. With the Shah back in power, the CIA trained the dreaded SAVAK secret police, and a hideous reign of terror continued until 1979. (The moral is that they don't hate us because of our freedom.)
FACT:
1962: Operation Northwoods was a plan to use a terror campaign to provide a false pretext to invade Cuba. (JFK rejected the plans, and that was not a career-enhancing move.) Northwoods contained a full cadre of attacks against Americans and American interests, which would be blamed on Cuba. The most interesting scenario was hijackings and destruction of remotely-controlled airliners. Aspects of Northwoods were put into practice in later years in the 1967 USS Liberty tragedy, and on September 11, 2001.
FACT:
Jun. 8, 1967: LBJ arranged with Israel to sink the USS Liberty off the Egyptian coast. This was to serve as a pretext for the US to enter the Arab-Israeli war. The USS Saratoga sent aircraft to defend the Liberty, but LBJ called the planes off. Lifeboats were strafed and sunk by Israeli torpedo boats. A Russian vessel witnessed the attack, so the false-flag operation was abandoned.
HYPOTHESIS:
Sept. 11, 2001: Elements of the CIA, Mossad, ISI, and other intelligence agencies, allied with elements of the governments of the US, UK, Israel, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and others, organized the events of 911 in order to move forward with a highly profitable global war on 'terrorism,' to control oil and gas supplies and pipelines, to control and expand poppy production for the drug trade, to clear out the WTC white elephant (pre-911 controlled demolition was prohibited), and to move domestic societies toward a command-and-control police state/New World Order. The 757 and 767 electronic flight control systems of all four aircraft were commandeered, and the aircraft were remotely piloted by either ground-based facilities or airborne electronic warfare/command and control platforms. All three building failures (WTC 1, 2, and 7) were implemented by pre-positioned explosives and thermate cutter charges.
