36 Years of Specialty Doors Solutions Spec-Dor™ was founded in 1972 to market and sell door technology in global markets. Spec-Dor's early days, focused on the sales of manufacturing technology, components and equipment to the overhead door industry. It's founder, Walter Timoschuk with 48 years of door manufacturing experience, quickly made Spec-Dor, recognized for it's technical strength. In the early 80s Spec-Dor began manufacturing Specialized Door products for the industrial door market. Spec-Dor’s products quickly became recognized in the construction industry.
In 1990, Spec-Dor expanded its operations internationally, establishing strategic relationships with service providers in South America, the Middle East and Europe. Spec-Dor can install a specialty door practically anywhere on earth. Alexander Timoschuk, a Mechanical Engineer with 17 years of manufacturing experience is now president of Spec-Dor. The implementation of modern manufacturing techniques coupled with strong engineering has forged it’s reputation for quality within the construction industry.
