| | Today, I have nothing smart to say. |
| | | By the fourth day, it's all gone away. |
| | | By the fourth day I've replayed that inane conversation... |
| | I had with Ray, the reporter from the New Times... |
| | | about contrails and how he thinks I should read Carl Sagan.... |
| | so many times that I want to throw up until I have amnesia. |
| | | By the fourth day I can't fathom why no one sees this. |
| | | By the fourth day I realize that James, at Sky Harbor Airport... |
| | has received so many of my emails about tanker jets and spray... |
| | | that he'll probably ignore me for a while.And although he's a nice guy, |
| | he will never contact the military "to get to the bottom of this." |
| |
| | By the fourth day I realize that they have sprayed incessantly |
| | | over densely populated areas. |
| | And I realize there must be military bases inside every major city. |
| | | Like ours, Arizona Department Of Military Affairs,at Papago Military Reserve. |
| | The only Base that offers training courses in all the high tech weapons. |
| | | By the fourth day, I've driven past that Base 20 times. |
| | I stare at the massive array of antennae, and I stare at the flag. |
| | | My eyes take in the Apache Helicopters on the tarmac, |
| | the ones that keep me up all night long. |
| | | I imagine what they'll weigh once their "Hellfire missiles" are attached. |
| | You know, the kind that wipe out villages and decimate wedding parties. |
| | | By the fourth day, when I drive by the Base, |
| | I imagine how important these people think what they are doing is. |
| | | And how unimportant they must think I am. |
| | After all, they're trying to save the free world. |
| | | I'm just trying to survive them. |
| | Imagine feeling so important that a child's developing lungs aren't an issue. |
| | | Imagine feeling so powerful that you can deny man's natural instinct |
| | not to be separated from nature. |
| | | And that you can make that decision for everyone. |
| | | By the fourth day, my brain is so exhausted by the toxic, |
| | genocidal, playground of the powerful with a limitless budget, |
| | | and the silence,complacency,blindness,and denial of the masses. |
| | I wonder how seemingly nice,pleasant people,can make weapons for money. |
| | | By the fourth day, thoughts of nature, plants,animals,insects,crops & water |
| | and forests becomes unbearable. |
| |
| | By the fourth day, conversations about which politician will save us, |
| | | the Dow Jones Average,interest rates,sports teams, |
| | consumer goods, and tv shows, |
| | | have made me so sick to my stomach |
| I've forgotten how to breathe.
