STRICTLY BUSINESS

Episode 6-19 [123]

8 April 1991

Murdoc comes out of retirement, and H.I.T. demands that he strike the one target that has always eluded him: MacGyver. He begins by setting up a dinner party, then straps MacGyver to the chair, and a cupid statue aims a poisoned dart at him. This is a warning, and he lets him go. MacGyver decides to go to a safehouse on Overlook Mountain, but on the way his car is hit and explodes. He survives the explosion and takes to the woods, ending up at the cabins of Suzanne Walker. She tends to MacGyver's wounds but is highly distrustful of him. Her daughter Amy tells him that her father previously tried to kidnap her, and they are hiding from him. Murdoc shows up, passing himself off as MacGyver to Suzanne. She goes to call the police, but Amy refuses to get in the car with her, taking MacGyver's side in the situation. Finally Murdoc takes Suzanne prisoner and goes to the abandoned mine nearby, where MacGyver finds her bound and gagged, suspended over the mine shaft. He manages to free her, and in the ensuing struggle Murdoc plunges into the mine shaft. However, no body is found. Suzanne and Amy decide to come out of hiding and face the situation with Suzanne's ex-husband by negotiation or legal measures.

MacGyver: Let me guess... no body.
Deputy: We'll keep looking. He's got to be down there. There's no way someone could survive a fall like that.
MacGyver: You don't know Murdoc.
