Murdoc asks MacGyver's help. When Murdoc retired, a hit was put out on him, and his sister Ashton was taken captive, held strapped in an electric chair on "death row" in a nightclub owned by Nicholas Helman, head of Homicide International Trust. The two go to the Halloween party there, disguised as costumed caterers. A board meeting is held, attended by the royal flush, so they knock out the joker and MacGyver goes in his place. Sonia warns Nicholas, but MacGyver slips away and locks them in. In the basement he and Murdoc dodge machine guns that operate by motion detection. Inside the gate the floor is covered with snakes. MacGyver douses his pant legs with kerosene, and with Murdoc on his shoulders they make their way to Ashton and free her. She and MacGyver run, but Murdoc is shot in the shoulder and stays behind, determined to finish off Nicholas. The spectacle has been a failure, so Nicholas enters the gate himself. Sonia locks it, and Murdoc throws a grenade at him. Later, MacGyver tells Ashton nothing about Murdoc's relationship to her or why she was targeted. He finds a note from Murdoc and a computer disc exposing H.I.T.
MacGyver: I said no guns.
Murdoc: You got a better idea?
MacGyver: Don't split hairs with me!
Murdoc: Well?
