In Geneva with the Phoenix Foundation to moderate negotiations between two nations, MacGyver becomes a fugitive when he's framed for an assassination attempt on Samadian President Habad. He seeks refuge on the grounds of the International School for Girls. Lisa Woodman comes across the wounded MacGyver in a wooded area at the edge of the grounds. When police appear at the main building with Headmaster Blake, she tells him to hide in the boathouse. She brings a first aid kit, and he must patch up the wound and repair a motorboat to escape. Habad's hotheaded Minister of Defense Yanif and his men question Lisa. They become suspicious, and she runs back to the boathouse. As they take off down the river, she tells MacGyver that Yanif has planted a bomb underneath the railcar carrying Pete and Habad to the summit of Mont Salève, where Habad plans to formally sign the peace treaty. After making land MacGyver heads up the mountain road on a motorcycle, and Lisa reports the incident to the Swiss police. MacGyver drops from the tower onto the railcar in transit. With rope and backpack harness he is lowered from the car and cuts the bomb loose just before it explodes. When he sees Lisa later, her parents have reached a "cease fire" in their troubled marriage.
MacGyver: Anybody got a knife?
Danielle: I do. It's got a lot of different blades.
MacGyver: I know.
