Jack Dalton involves MacGyver in his latest scheme: to pilot an heiress back to France after she purchases a fortune in jewels in America. They run into trouble at takeoff, and when they arrive in France Elena departs, and they are arrested. Elena, the heiress, is in reality Lee Ann, partners in the theft with Paul Donnay, a wealthy landowner near Toulouse. Jack and MacGyver escape the French police and track Lee Ann back to Paul's estate. There confusion sets in when Jack is distracted by a rabbit, and MacGyver is apprehended by the guards. When Lee Ann objects to Paul killing MacGyver, she and MacGyver are both tied up in the winery. They get loose but are still locked in amongst the wine barrels. Meanwhile, Pete has arrived in France and locates Jack, who is on the street trying to hire help to free MacGyver. He and Pete come up with a plan. Posing as a buyer, Pete and his valet Jack gain access to the estate. Jack finds out that MacGyver is in the winery. Fearing that Pete will be shot when the ruse is discovered, Jack, MacGyver, and Lee Ann use a giant wine barrel to crash through the wall to the bidding room.
