How do you create characters that readers love and hate and care for so much they cannot stop turning the pages to know more about? How can you use people you have known or know to build cohesive fictional characters that take on a solid life of their own? Picano will discuss some of the methods and yes, tricks of the trade, in how to build characters that come to life and jump off the page in your short fiction, drama, screenplays, and novels.
