Hawaii Apple
A Hawaii Business Magazine article takes a look at Apples in Hawaii.
The president of Honolulu-based MacMouse Club, says the primary reason people are switching over from PCs to Macs is the new OS X operating system. Actually, I thnk it's a combination of Apple's easy-to-use and useful iApps (iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD) and its stylish and technologically sound hardware product line (iMac, iBook, iPod).
I've purchased all of my Macs here on the island, save for my latest, a TiBook G4. Although they've been having some problems recently with the Better Business Bureau, I ordered my laptop through MacMall, with excellent and speedy service. It would be great to have an Apple store open up on Oahu, considering the state has a higher market penetration of Apple products than the rest of the nation.
