Oh Boy, it's the start of the silly season...


Looks like The Sun is struggling to find stories about the sex lives of allegedly famous people again...

Check this out for a headline :
"Snake-mad lad trumps adder"
And I quote...

"A SNAKE-MAD schoolboy helped docs treat him after he was bitten by a vicious adder - by using his knowledge of the serpent."

So, according to 'The Sun', that bastion of trustworthy news reporting, the snake was 'vicious'? So why, later in the very same 'news article' do we read that the young lad was praised by Doreen Graham (SPCA) for:

"acknowledging that the snake had been defending itself when it bit him"

Vicious? I think not.

Doreen's last comment is something that I'm sure KRAG members and other naturalists around the country would fully endorse:

"Here is a little chap who can see the wonder of Scottish wildlife which is wonderful."
