Adders in Decline Project 2005
Just a reminder that we will be busy surveying
sites across the county again this year to look for the fantastic
adder!
The Kent Adders in Decline initiative has been so
successful that we have decided to keep it as an ongoing project. To that end
KRAG have prepared a web page just for the project. The Adders in Decline web
page can be found here. Here is a sneak preview of the updated adder
distribution map.
Some of the sites that we have identified will receive extra attention this coming spring. This will enable us to contribute to the national Make the Adder Count project. Both projects complement each other and should enable us to learn more about this most misunderstood animal.
