Washington D.C. - Day 2
Arlington National Cemetery
A fitting place to be on a memorial day week-end: the place where
America celebrates its fallen war
heroes.

I
understand that any military power in history has the need to create myths of
heroism in order to sustain the willingness of its population and in
particularly its military to continued sacrifice on the battlefield. However, I
have my doubts if politicians don't sometimes abuse that willingness for rather
dubious purposes and less than well justified foreign policy adventures.
