Day 4

Before heading back to the airport for the red-eye flight (yucks!) back to JFK we are staying local and visit some of the local area, including some hiking in the woods around Woodside and driving through some areas legendary at least by name in the high-tech community outside the "The Valley" (Sand Hill road, Stanford U., Palo Alto, Mountain View etc.). Before getting on the plain, meeting up with some some more friends who ended up in the Bay Area. It seems the people in the US high-tech industry can partitioned into 2 groups those who have moved to the west-coast and those who are still in denial, hopping from one sinking east-coast tech company to the next - or like myself - get out of the high-tech industry properly speaking, to peddle their services to the 2 biggest consumers of technology on the east-coast: wall-street and the defense department... (even though, recently I have known almost as many people moving to Bangalore - voluntarily - as to the west-coast).
