Grandson, VD, Switzerland

One of the many medieval castles throughout the Canton de Vaud, built in the style of a Savoyard square fortress. The museum today includes a collection of historic cars and exhibits on the 1476 battle of Grandson, which had been the beginning of the end of Burgundy's ambitions to European great-power status at the time.
