Gin Lane
355 W14 St. (9th ave) - American
With its dark nouveau-victorian decor, supposed to be a new twist on the
traditional New York City restaurant from a time long gone by. Trendy as
everything in the Meatpacking district. Food was traditional and solid, one of
the better tournedos au poivre in a while. Since we wanted to go there initially
on New Year's day and the restaurant had cancelled our reservation, this was on
the house. Can't say anything against that...
