Central Park

Great weather this year for the 3.5miles/5km race in central park. With about 15k participants at the start, it gets very crowded - taking about 5min to get to the starting line and much longer to slalom around droves of people walking (what were they doing in the "competitive" section up front in the first place anyway?). As usual, Bloomberg is having a party afterwards at the Central Park Boathouse, to undo most of the health benefits that running 5km might have had.
